About Us

We are a collaboration of three non-profit organizations who currently address Medical, Education and Community Infrastructure needs in the Todos Santos and Pescadero areas.  We share the common goal to support our community by resolving hardships brought on by catastrophic events.  Our concerns include basic necessities of food, medical assistance, and other possible hardships affecting the welfare of the community.  Together we are stronger!

Our Need

In response to COVID-19, all non-essential businesses in our area have been closed for over two months. The economic impact to our community, which relies heavily on tourism and agriculture, is staggering. It is estimated that 1,500 families are in immediate and continued need of food assistance.  Grocery bags (Despensas) with essential pantry items like beans, rice, flour, canned tuna, lentils, oats and cooking oil, cost between 400 – 450 pesos per bag. Costs could be up to $60K per month to provide food for that number of families.

An estimated 250 families also require diapers and formula for young children.  The cost for one month for 100 kids is estimated at $6,300 USD. We are also meeting an increased need for psychological services. Violence and domestic abuse are on the rise, a typical outcome of crisis situations.

Our goal for this fundraiser is to cover food and medical needs through October. In order to do this, we need to raise $300,000 or more.
